This weekend saw yet another birthday, but a fancy dress theme called for a more 'inspired' choice of outfit. Wondering around the various pubs of London town from about 2pm meant flats were in order and when jumping ship to join some other mates later on in the evening i forgot to capture my 2nd outfit of choice. So this week i'm finally sharing another creation with you all! A couple of months back some of you might remember the home made maxi skirt > here's a reminder.
I got some great feedback that inspired me to keep the creations flowing. During a fabric mission i came across this blue/grey toned python print, instantly falling in love. To create a flattering piece i went for a high waisted style but used an extra 1.5m of fabric to create a slightly more dramatic flow on the skirt. Teaming it with a simple crop vest & minimal accessories the skirt remains the focal point of this look.

Come the chillier times of AW11 i'll be teaming this with a short chunky knit or a simple tee with an oversized scarf and some trusty boots.
