Royal Fashion Affair

 THE dress we were all awaiting was finally revealed to be designed by Sarah Burton of Mcqueen. It was elegant & perfect.

 

Ou of all the dresses on display this was by far my favourite. Possibly helped by the fact that pippa middleton is rather pretty & has a enviable figure the dress seemed to be cut to perfection. The detail of the buttons running down the back of the dress was eye catching but not too overbearing. My definite dress crush!

 Tara P-T and Victoria Beckham were amongst the best dressed guests for me. Eye catching in blue TPT  looked like she could've just stepped off a runway with her almost perfectly matching outfit & accessories. Where as Mrs Becks opted for a more subtle tone to match her dashing hubby, allowing the hat to make the statement. The dress of choice is from her own range...yep that'll be sold out in a matter moments!

Princess Beatrice for me looked fabulous but the hat was a little over the top in my opinion. A more simplified style i feel would have been more appropriate. Though at the Pre wedding dinner she definitely qualifies for a best dressed nod.

Chelsy Davy ( the on/off/on girlfriend of a certain prince harry) didn't exactly wow us with her choice for the day. I adore the colour and nude accessories but the cut of the top/jacket doesn't do her many favours. If it had been all one piece i think it could've worked well. Let's hope if she marries her prince her fashion choice on the day will prove to be a little more successful!
