NYFW : Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B line.....

Last week saw the turn of New York to host it's week of fashion aka NYFW.

This year Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B clothing line closed the week of events with a runway show of it's future collections. Gwen as part of no doubt and then during her solo years influenced my love of fashion (and obviously music). Never shying away from trying new things, she's created a strong image, heavily influenced by the Harajuku fashion of Japan but with a glamourous twist.

With her very own Harajuku girls

Her clothing line, for me, is a lot more wearable than most collections you see down the runway, but then that's the appeal of her line. It's always items you know Gwen would rock herself.

Stefani divided the outfits into six categories. "It's one collection, but like subcategories, which are always my inspiration," she said in an interview Wednesday. "We have Ragga girl, we got a soldier girl, we got an English girl, we got a glamour girl, we got a buffalo girl."

I love the way the collection is diverse yet you can still see how it comes together. Can't wait till it hits the stores later in the year especially as L.A.M.B is one of the more affordable ranges showcased at nyfw.
