Anything Could Happen...

House of Holland Tee - Topshop Skirt - Select Heels

A casual night out gave me a chance to pop on some shiny new nude heels i treated myself to. I've been searching for a pair like this forever and when i spied these in Select for a bargain price of £14 ( yes £14! I kid you not), i knew they'd be coming home with me. The tee was snapped up at London Fashion Weekend and the skirt is an old Topshop number i've had for years.

In other news the next 3 weeks see's me in the midst of a lifestyle overhaul, paying more attention to my health (and the docs orders i've been casually ignoring..ahem) & selling my life on Ebay! If there is anything you spy on there that you like i also accept Buy It Now offers, so message me/tweet me.

Cut Outs & Crosses ...

Karma Clothing Dress - Boohoo Skirt - Lita Reps -
New Look Studded Cross Necklace -
...HeadChain - Bag Malaysian Boutique

What a weekend..my body's been abused a bit too much but it was worth it! Starting it all off was a birthday night out in Londres. I wanted to wear the spiked beauts from the previous post but realised they'd look a lot better for a certain event next weekend so opted for the standard wooden heel instead. This dress was steal at just £8 from a site called karma clothing, who i initially found via ebay! Realising it was a tad see through after the first 'blog shot'  i popped on the cross filled bodycon skirt from boohoo. The night was a success though i was severely hanging when en route to the epic swedish house mafia gig in MK the next day ( someone remind me as to why i love tequila so much?!)...looking forward to sharing that post with you all in the next few days.

Pound The Alarm ...

Boohoo Skirt - Ebay Retailer Wedged Hightops -
 Topshop Knit & Necklace
As i spent most of my teenage years living in trainers and tracksuit bottoms, no seriously i kid you not, the latest trend of heeled high-tops has won a place in my heart with ease. The fact they are beyond comfortable to run around in just makes them even more appealing, so as you can see i purchased a little pair in black, with the subtle hint of a white sole. Teaming it with my new Boohoo skirt , a purchase inspired by my love of crosses and bodycon, and a basic Topshop knit , this look saw me through a day of shopping for beauty products.  The skirt was a steal at about £10! It's a tad see through, but no more than the usual jersey pieces found in places like H&M.

Now to await the arrival of the Sun! I'm meant to be seeing Swedish House Mafia & Calvin Harris ( amongst others) in Milton keynes in 2 week and praying it's not a wash out. Oh and there's the slight issue of a bbq this weekend.... House party anyone?

Home Run ...

Zara TRF Dress - Topshop Necklaces - Litas -
Malaysian Boutique Ring

Finally I'm back with an outrageously overdue ootn! This little dress was a cheeky purchase during the Jubilee bank holiday ( yes all that time ago..) but i then fell ill & have sine just been a bit 'blaahhh'. So when my return to friday night cocktails arose i knew this would feature. It's a bit girly for me but i kinda like the cuteness of it. Teaming it with lace up boots i feel gave it a bit of an edge. I've got loads of ideas on how i want to style this up, *cue a return of the inspiration post*.

On another note sorry for the quality of the pictures, think my camera was either having a hissy fit due to neglect or is warning me it's about to take it's place in electronical heaven. Time to start investing in a new camera me thinks. So happy to be posting again, thank you all for sticking with me! Mwahh!

Through The Night...

Cow Vintage Shirt Dress - Forever21 Sequin Shorts -
Diva Green Feather Hair Extension - H&M Neon/Gold Bracelet -
Topshop Necklace - Lita Replicas
As you guys probably guessed from my previous post the weekend was spent away. A couple of us headed up to Nottingham and after we'd shopped our hearts out and swooned over the hottest waiter you ever did see during dinner it was time to hit the various bars for the birthday celebrations. Let's just say the trays of shots in Vodka Revolutions can be lethal....well if abused.Ha.

I've been having a bit of a nightmare with my wardrobe recently and after selling a pile of stuff in the land of ebay i'm slowly updating it in the hope that i will stop muttering the words ' i actually have nothing to wear' every.single.weekend. This shirt/dress was a recent buy from the land of Cow Vintage in Birmingham and i just teamed it with some cute sequin shorts i picked up in Malaysia. The weather played it's part in this look as i'm sure the constant sight of gloomy clouds ahead has led me to just reject colour...hence theme of dark blue/black from top to toe. Though i do like the way my newly bleached mane seems to stand out. Or maybe that's just because i've actually been looking after it in preperation for death by a straightening iron this weekend coming.

I'm turning another year older next Monday and am packing out my weekend with dates all over the shop. Though i'm still without an actual outfit for saturday night...*runs screaming to the nearest shopping centre*. Maybe i will just paint myself gold and be done with it!
Or maybe not.....

Chasing The Sun ...

Sheinside Shirt - Topshop Belt & Leggings - H&M Gold Belt CuffsRings - All from Malaysian Boutiques

A few weeks ago i decided to take the plunge and purchase my first item from Sheinside. Taking advantage of a discount code i had been emailed to use on my first purchase i went for this cut out shirt. Combining my love for shirts and cut out detailing as soon as i clapped eyes on it i knew it wouldn't be long before it claimed a place in my ( over flowing) wardrobe. It's first outing was to Nottingham for a birthday weekend of shopping & cocktails. Even the sun came out to play!

I teamed it with basic leggings and a skinny belt to give me more definition around my waist. In terms of quality i would definitely say it was worth the £20 odd it cost and the team at sheinside are great with their communication, ensuring i was kept up to speed with everything regarding my orders dispatch etc.
I finished it off with a few random rings and a pair of cuffs from H&M.

My chosen outfit for the evening is en route this week and a review of my latest nail varnish purchases from a bargain brand...so cheap i ended up buying 5!

Call My Name ...

Primark Oversized Blouse - Zara Mint Ankle Grazer Jeans -
AX Paris Pumps -

Ok so i've been slacking on outfit posts recently and i'm blaming the lovely little case of this monsoon during an apparent drought?! (Yes i am as confused as the rest of you about that one). But with May comes my birthday and with a reputation and rather fabulous freinds like mine it means i'll be spending most of my free time out & about ( trying to ignore the little, slightly depressing fact that i'm turning another year older. Booo!). This weekend saw me hit Stratford on a birthday outfit hunt & then Lakeside yesterday. For some reason nothing's really grabbing me at the moment so i'm actually finding shopping a chore! Any ways with many upcoming dates also comes the chance to dress up and shoot some pics, not that i ever really need an excuse to dress up.  My motto goes a little something like -->

Hope you had a fab bank holiday weekend & enjoy the 4 day week!

A Familiar Place ...

Primark Blouse - Asos Shorts - Topshop Tights -
New Look Shoe Boots -  Mix of Ebay/Asos/Vintage jewels

I love a good 4 day week as much as the next person but i swear this week almost felt as though it was a little longer? Maybe i just had more fun then i realised on holiday and my body's just rejecting work...anyone want to give me a million £££s so i can reclaim the feeling of normality? No? Ah it was worth a try i guess ;)

The outfit was literally thrown together around the fact that i wanted to wear tights, so no exciting story behind it i'm afraid. Though at one point i was beginning to resemble a pirate and had to re-think the accessories. I love captain Jack Sparrow but i don't really want to look like him.. i mean he's a dude with a beard of sorts. Not sure i could rock THAT look haha.

In other news it's my birthday next month so expect lots of random posts of - i want this / if only i could buy all these etc etc. Birthdays always leave me with an insane wish-list..though i can tick off high-tops. Yep an early birthday pressie sorted that little wish out. I'm actually sooo excited by these its ridiculous & i can not wait to blog them! I also think i've finally decided on a new tattoo and i'm re-ombreing my mane.

Sparks ...

H&M Sheer Sleeveless Blouse - Topshop Skirt - River Island Rope Sandals -
Kurt Geiger Clutch - Forver21 Bracelet & Headband
Is it just me or does this look nothing like me? Freshly washed hair and no hairdryer for the fringe = a minor hair disaster, saved only buy my favourite jewelled headband. I must be the only person who loves the affect humidity has on my mane...when it comes to my hair the bigger the better i say!
This little look was for a dinner and drinks date with some old friends of my parents in KL, even though they're not around anymore when i'm over that side of the world the people i grew up surrounded by on various trips out there still maintain contact and to me it's really sweet. This particular evening i was seeing an Editor of one of the top newspapers in Malaysia and so the venue wasn't exactly somewhere i could rock a pair of denim shorts..sadly. With this in mind I went for my blue blouse from H&M , a simple bodycon skirt and my rope flats. It's simple yet i think the sequins and colour of the top give it a dressy edge.

In other news i can't believe it's already Easter?! I'm yet to purchase an egg but the peanut MnMs variety spied in Asda yesterday may be sneakily purchased. Into the fourth month of the year i'm looking forward to implementing some big changes which should only leave me feeling more positive, roll on the bank holiday weekend of catch-ups with friends and lots of chocolate!

Just Tonight ...

Love Dress - Topshop Clutch - Office Flats -
 Malaysian Boutique Silver &Turquoise Ring

Finally i get to start sharing my outfits from Malaysia with you all and there's a fair few yet to come. After a flight of about 12.5hours we landed to extreme heat and the sun setting over Kuala Lumper. My family all live just outside in an area known as Sunway and stay a stones throw away from a major theme/water park , a rather fabulous shopping complex known as The Pyramid and a host of bars. We'd literally been on land for all of 2hours when i found myself in a car off out on my 'welcome' night-out to a few bars in KL and ending up in the fabulous Roots Club. Funnily enough i didn't get any proper outfit shots from that night and i wasn't quite photo ready come a 6am reunion with a bed. But the next night saw us head to anouther part of town and as with any outing came an excuse for a new look.

The night before i flew out my little purchase from Love arrived. I was worried about the length of the dresses as i'm a bit of giant but after the stunner Lydia of Lydia Elise Millen assured me they'd be fine i was off with my bank card ordering away. I love love love this dress! Teaming it with limited jewels and flats as in the heat i couldn't be bothered with anything too fussy but am craving an opportunity to style it up with a belt, heels and a obscene amount of jewels! It's a bit of a jump away from my usual style ( it's a lot of pink AND a dress! Where's the black?! ) but i liked the outcome. So much so i will be using the discount voucher  got in my wiwt goody bag to purchase it in another colour..why not eh?

Paradise Times...

Apologies for the lack of blogging action ( or should that be no blogging action) over the past two weeks but i was stuck in Malaysia being forced to enjoy the sun, shops and party a little too much. As you can imagine this was utter torture...the kind i adore! As well as being a well needed break from a stressful few months it gave me the chance to see my family (all my mums side all reside over that part of the world) and be reunited with one of my beauts who was lucky enough to bugger off travelling for the best part of a year. Fellow bloggers and wiwt users will understand my excitement at moving away from the 'white background' outfit posts to something with a bit more character, i managed to snap a fair few which i'll share with you all in the coming couple of weeks. But to start with here's a few oh so casual loo shots when i forgot to shoot the days look and few extra's to give you a bit of a holiday rundown.  I also managed to hunt down a rather nifty tailor and got a few pieces made ( cue the happy/excited dance) roll on the chance to abuse my camera and the social calendar!

Glad to be back and thinking i definitely need to get an ipad by the next holiday, i missed posting for you loves a tad too much ( obsessive blogger alert!).
