Simple Pleasures.......

Love Oversized Blouse, Topshop Leggings , Zara Shoes , Miss Selfridge Leather Jacket , Miu Miu Shades

The weekend finally saw some sunshine! Ok, so it was short lived and come sunday morning the rain had made an unwelcome return but at least we got one day to get out the shades & shorts ( i opted out of the shorts but many others around london town were sporting theirs). Saturday saw a day out in london in exchange for my usual evening antics. Starting early & heading off to london for some retail therapy we took in the fashion filled sites of: Carnaby Street (where i rediscovered the need for some high tops in my life) , Oxford Street  (which left me the usual lengthy wish-list) and Selfridges (I had to stop myself from buying every Miu Miu item in sight).

Followed by lunch in the sunshine ,  a stroll through Hyde Park and a boat ride it was one of the best saturdays i've had in a while. Though the mass parade of naked cyclists wasn't quite part of the plan it was a moment of random madness that simply added to the days giggles.

With my little old life taking a bit of twist in recent weeks, simply taking some time out to just wonder round without a real 'plan of action' was a surprisingly refreshing change.  Plus the fact i was with a few rather fabulous people including a certain lady who never fails to get me laughing, i couldn't really go wrong. Come Sunday we joined forces yet again but this time in a more creative way, for a day of Maxi madness (making a few maxi's which i can not wait to blog for you all to see). Back to the weekday to do list made up of meetings , cover letters and research, i'm looking forward to having a set routine in my life once again. Turning the hellish events of previous weeks into a source of motivation, i may not quite be feeling quite like my old self just yet, but i'm headed in the right direction.  Let's hope this positivity pays off , with work and sunshine en route soon!
