Zara Lace Blouse - Topshop Shorts - Boohoo Blazer 

With my cousins birthday weekend came a whole heap of reasons to get tarted up and none more so than saturday nights celebration. We headed to a bar called Apres and spent night sipping on cocktails with the obligatory dance. I love a good pair of shorts and when i saw these in Topshop i knew i had to have it. The velvet material coupled with the plum colour is perfect for autum/winter and the highwaisted cut is fab for my figure. Teaming it with a black lace blouse, blazer and boots it kept the look classic but with a bit of edge. Smarter than i'd usually opt for but i think this is a style i'll be rocking more often from now on. Yeah shorts in the midst of what feels like a sub-zero autumn....should i be re-thinking this?
